- CC3 TACTICS: THE HUNTING ZONE -

(Big thanx goes to general SG_c4nslo who wrote this tactics guide. Arranged by: SG_Igor)

DO YOU FIND YOURSELF AN GOOD CC3 COMMANDER? DO YOU WANT TO BECOME FEAR AND TERROR FOR ALL YOUR OPPONENTS ON THE NET? MAYBE YOU LIKE OUR NICE SHINING GENERAL STARS AND WISH TO GET ONE OF THOSE?

WELL, IF YOU NEED TO IMPROVE YOUR COMBAT SKILLS AND TACTICS KNOWLEDGE, TO COMMAND SUCCESSFULLY AND TO LEAD YOUR MEN TO THE FINAL VICTORY, WE RECOMMEND YOU TO TAKE A LITTLE TIME AND READ THIS CC3 TACTICS GUIDE!

Many beginners who come to Zone to play Close Combat III don't realize that playing against a computer is easy, compared with head-to-head play. It's not rare that people who haven't even gone through Grand Campaign start playing on the Net, some for CC3 Ladders! Of course, the result of matching experienced players is defeat (almost) every time. So a NOTE for all begginers - if you want to be successful in beating other players on the Internet, play against the computer until it becomes boring and until you can win the Grand Campaign on difficulty setting "Hero". Sure you can learn playing the hard way, that is by letting your ass being kicked over and over again. If you are a quick learner I guess that's a way to do it too... but how smart it is, well... think about it!

Ok, now when we got that clear (hope we didn't scare you :)) it's time to start the lessons. If you have any questions about Close Combat tactics, performance of weapons... post them to our discussion forum, or send a mail to SG_c4nslo. We hope you will enjoy this guide through the tactics and combat skills. It includes weapons from the original CC3 and RealRed mod. We didn't try to describe how to defeat each specific enemy unit, because it would be too long and probably hard to follow. Besides, every scenario is different, so you must always adapt your tactics to it.
