With 774 Dobermann names entered in the catalogue this 2002 Silverjubileum & IDC show in Italy was the biggest Dobermann show ever. The  show was organized in a large park in Desio, near Milan with dobermanns coming so numerously from 26 different countries.

Six great Dobermann expertst had not an easy job to pick the best dogs who will bring the most important and appreciate titles in Dobermann world. This big show gives a hope that our breed has a future despite some absurd laws against the Dobermann breed - like Mr. Pezzano said "...laws that offend and tread on our culture and violate our rights and our freedom." We truly believe that with great love for the breed we all together can save Dobermann like we have him in our dreams.

complete results of the show on EuroDobermann pages
Here will try to present you a small photo-report from this show, also results of dogs from our  "Come As You Are" kennel.
Special thanks to Antti Passila and Marja Kaupila from Finland (the owners of our beautiful Dogzilla) whose pictures we use here.

The best result at this show made two Alabama's daughters: Feba and Godiva.
They both have been placed as second in their classes.

CAYA Godiva, 8 months - Very Promising, 2nd place in Junior class (total 38 entries); owner Florent Chargeboeuf, France

CAYA Feba, 20 months - Excellent, 2nd place in Open class
(total 30 entries); owner CAYA kennel

Galina and Freia haven't been placed in "4 best" but still they were at the top.

Our Princess CAYA Freia (20 months) - Excellent, 6th place in big Open class (total 47 entries); owner CAYA kennel.
Although Freia was not in 4 best it's very important to us that many Dobermann experts have been delighted
with her charisma and beauty. Everyone agrees Freia has the attitude and expression of a real Dobermann Lady.

CAYA Galina (8 months) - Very Promising, 5th place in Junior class (total 16 entries); owner CAYA kennel.
Galina hasn't much from her mother Alabama. She's very much in her grand-grandfather Icaro di Villa Castelli type.

CAYA Diedre (2.5 years) - Excellent in Open class;
owner Carlos Carneiro Gomez, Portugal.
It was for the first time that we saw Diedre since she was a pup. We were nicely surprised how big and strong she is.

CAYA Herta (6 months) - Very promising in Junior class;
owners Monika & Branislav, Slovakia.
With only 6 months Herta was the youngest one in her class,
but still very beautiful.

CAYA Godric (8 months) - Very promising in Junior class;
owners Claudia and Heini Witt, Germany.
It's for a sure that Godi was not at the best period of his develompent for this show. His time will come later.

Although some judges have critics on Feba's strong head (they use to say it's too masculine), we are sure she will be an excellent breeding bitch due to her strong, short and very correct body.

CAYA Dogzilla - Willy (2,5 years) and his son from Estonia; Dogzilla's owners Antti Pasilla and Marja Kaupila, Finland.
There was 58 black males entered in the Open class. Dogzilla was Excellent and in 8 best. No matter what the judge's opinion was,
Willy was one of the best males in whole the show for us and these pictures can prove it.

Two more dogs from our kennel have been presented: CAYA Frou Frou (excellent in Open class)
and CAYA Haina (very promising in Junior class). We are very sorry that there's no pictures of them from Italy.

Soon! Gallery of other dogs presented at the show: winners and other nice dogs that we like.
Come back soon.
