 I would like to present you
a musical project called "Ritual". The "RITUAL" was created with
intention to be a natural flision between Serbian traditional music and modem music of the
late 20th century. The internationalization of Serbian traditional music was basic
motivation of working on this project.Similar thing happened with Brazilian traditional
music during the 60' s.Today, samba is an international musical standard. The " world
flision" is becoming a movement.There are a thousands of "world music"
festivals around the globe. People of the world should know what "kolo",
"koledo", "dodole" is. For people around the world, to see our
folklore ensembles and to understand our musical mentality, is not enough..It is necessary
to make a fusion mixing serbian music and some modern styles in order to prove that music
REALY is a universal language. I think this is the only way, for people whose musical
tradition is ontologically different than ours, to feel familiar with this world fusion
